Recently we were lucky enough to visit Waikato's new and improved - Tieke Golf Estate. Formally known as Lochiel, Tieke opened its pastures to the public in late 2021 and what a response it's had. Now rated against the likes of Wairakei, Tieke has become a golfers destination and it's not hard to see why.
Open arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown through to the restaurant overlooking the 18th. An absolute dream to say the least. The plan open layout made for a perfect afternoon chewing the fat on what would become the location in which we launched the brand Swilcan. Tieke's links style layout is simply magnificent to the eye and although we weren't able to find the time for a few holes, we'd be sure to make it back.
